Curtis: It'll be explosive

CURTIS Woodhouse admits that anything less than a 100 per cent performance at Magna tonight could see his fight career take a massive backward step.

Woodhouse faces hard-hitting Dale Miles in an explosive British Light-Welterweight title eliminator at Magna, with his opponent having a fiery record of 12 wins from 13 fights with nine knock-outs en-route. His only defeat was after a cut last time out in a Prizefighter show against Tyrone Nurse.

But East Yorkshireman Woodhouse, fighting out of Dave Coldwell’s Rotherham gym, has won 11 of his 16 pro bouts and is confident he can overcome his toughest opponent to date and earn a shot at the British crown.

“Anything less than 100 per cent from me and I'm getting knocked out,” said Woodhouse.

“This could go one round or ten rounds and it's a fight I can't afford to lose.

“He’s going to come here and try and stick it on me but I’m not going to let him.
