Codling - no need for major changes
The 39-year-old was given the job last Thursday after Andre Bester’s controversial departure and even though he met the players on Wednesday and will be at tomorrow’s derby with Leeds, his contractual agreement means he officially takes control on Monday.
But Codling has made an initial assessment behind the scenes at Clifton Lane and won’t march in with a lump hammer.

Hide Ad“There are some quality players at the club and caretakers Mike Whitehead and Lee Blackett have done a fantastic job over the last couple of weeks, so I don’t see the need for major changes right now.
“It will just be a case of me coming in and keeping everything as-was because it seems settled here and there’s no need to alter much.”
