Chairman plans with Warnock

MILLERS chairman Tony Stewart says plans are already being laid for next season as he prepares to secure Neil Warnock's future at the club.

The two will get together in the run-up to Saturday's home game against Blackburn Rovers and Mr Stewart is confident that the man who has helped turn the season around and secured Championship safety will stay on for another year.

He said: "We have time to talk, we play golf and go out for a meal so there is nothing that I don't see that would represent any hurdles in being able to maintain Neil Warnock for next season.

"I haven't got a problem with Neil saying 'I want this and that,' it's what managers do. Probably 99 per cent of what Neil wants we have talked about."

There will be more from the chairman and manager in this week's Advertiser.
