Brandy goes out on loan

ROTHERHAM United's Febian Brandy has joined Crewe Alexandra on a one-month emergency loan deal to sharpen his game.

The forward joins the League One side seeking regular first-team football and match fitness.

"I had a number of enquiries from managers in League One," revealed Millers boss Steve Evans.

"I would like to make it clear that this young man still has a bright future at the New York Stadium but he needs a run of matches at first team level that will in turn prepare him for the demands of the Championship.

"He has got himself in fantastic condition and now needs competitive action; he goes with our good wishes and will return in four to five weeks."
