Bester's words of caution

ANDRE Bester has fired a warning to his players on the eve of one of the toughest matches of the season, saying: “Get it wrong and we could get blown away.”

Titans head to Championship table-toppers London Welsh aiming to end a bleak run on the road which has gleaned just one draw—last time out at Nottingham—since the opening day of last season.

Bester knows that’s not good enough and sees Old Deer Park as the perfect place to put the record straight, although the Exiles are currently proving the team to beat after bagging five wins from their six outings.

He said: “It’s going to be a tough game, especially on their own patch.

“Their speed in defence is very quick, they’ve got a good first phase, have experience all over the place and they play with tempo. It’s always a tough place to go to.

“If we don’t turn up we’re going to get 40 or 50 points against us. We have to be switched on but I believe in this squad and I believe in the players. It will be a good measuring stick for us.”
