It involves leading a team of coaches in the four training centres that run throughout the year, as well as working with regional body Netball Yorkshire.

Vicky became a coach when she joined the club as a newly qualified teacher aged 21. For the past three years, she has been head coach at the Rotherham satellite centre, training talented young teenagers.

Over the last year, she has seen 25 per cent of the youngsters she has coached on her satellite programme progress to academy level. From there, several have progressed onto the regional Excel programme, while three players have gone on to the national U17 and U19 squads.
