Atkinson opts against Millers stay
WILL Atkinson's loan extension at Rotherham United has fallen through following a last-minute change of heart by the player.
The Hull City winger had been due to stay with the Millers until the end of the season but he has now opted to join League One outfit Rochdale.
Rotherham's chief operating officer, Paul Douglas, said: "We are disappointed that Will has had this last-minute change of heart but he has decided to join Rochdale, where he had a successful time last season in helping them to promotion to League One."
