ANGLING: Steve Forster nets a whopper at Meadowlands Fishery
POPULAR local angler Steven Forster came home from the Meadowlands Fishery with a £5,000 cheque in his pocket and the title of Angling Trust Silver Fish Champion after winning the 2022 title.
He did it on a windy Lambsdown Lake at the fishery with 57lbs 12ozs of bream caught with the pole at peg 19.
Sam Collett took the second place with 53lbs 15ozs from the Warren Lake and Jon Arthur the third, also from the Warren, with 48lbs 1oz.
