ANGLING: Deserved win for Ulley leader Paul

IT was bound to happen at Ulley.

Paul Hardy has been winning his section for a number of weeks now and on Saturday he managed to convert his section into a match win too. None too pleased with his draw at peg 24 in the Quarry section, Paul got his head down with the feeder and after half-an-hour began catching an odd bream and skimmer and continued to do so finishing with a winning 25lbs.

Perch were the quarry for Rob Hall, who caught a series of decent fish for a second placed 11lbs 5ozs.

Section winners were Roy Palmer in the Bridge section with 10lbs 4ozs, Russell Dowding in the Tower section with 8lbs and Colin Hardy in the Quarry section with 5lbs 10ozs.
