ANGLING: Dave Griffiths in pole position on the Great Pond at Ravenfield
LOTS of fish were spawning on the Great Pond at Ravenfield prior to the latest multi-pond series event, but that didn't prevent Dave Griffiths taking a winning weight of 21lbs 12ozs with the pole and feeder from peg 20.
In-form Paul Hamshaw, who can't put a foot wrong where catching bream is concerned, took the runners-up spot with an 18lbs net, easing Mick Bostock into third place with 13lbs 4ozs.
Section winners were Stuart Senior, 12lbs 14ozs and Dave Hawkridge 12lbs.
