Alarming defeat for Titans
ROTHERHAM Titans suffered a massive blow to their play-off hopes when they crashed to a 25-24 defeat at bottom of the table Birmingham.
They had led 10-3 at the break, Colin Quigley scoring the lone try of the half, before Birmingham took advantage of lapses in concentration to storm 25-10 ahead by the hour.
It left Rotherham chasing the game and, despite a surperb late surge when they scored tries from Dan Baines and Juan Socino they ran out of time and had to settle for a losing bonis point.
They are at home to Doncaster this Saturday (2pm).
