Adam's double whammy

At the Northern Athletic Open meeting at the Sheffield Insitute of Sport, Adam vaulted an impressive 4.20m which secured qualification to the Northern and National Indoor Championshps in January and February respectively. It also put him second in his new U17 age group in the country.

Adam then travelled to Sport City in Manchester to compete in the the first of five open meetings at this venue.

He increased his personal best twice in his age group and finished with a vault of 4.40m, which not only earned him top spot the U17 age group but moved him to top of the U17 rankings.

Adam has two other open meetings in Manchester before opening his Championship bid for medals at the Northern Championships in January.
