You got what you fought for

I SEE po-faced Ms Cooper the double expenses fiddler is at it again.

It is not racist to talk about immigration, she coos. All of a sudden with an election looming she wishes to curb payments to immigrants who come here with no work and not to send money back for children not living here.

What a difference a few weeks make and the fact it may be another hung parliament.

In Rotherham I see at least ten police officers are going to be investigated. Not before time but what about this bunch of social service incompetents and cover uppers and the local councillors and officials?

What is Shaun Wright Mark 2 going to do? Using the police as scapegoats is all very well, some of them deserve it, but what about his cronies? He is biased and too near the culprits. I suppose because it is Labour that is all right then.

It they were any other but Labour Mr Dempsey, Mr Healey and Mr Platts would be marching down the main street calling for their heads.

I was in Rotherham Hospital Last week and part of this week. I had a short interesting conversation with a senior worker there who said we are entitled to a better pension. I said some of you probably are, but bear this in mind.

Our pensions are less because of Gordon Brown’s stealth tax. Some of us on less than £14,00 per annum will pay near the 40 per cent tax line if you take into account it is taxed twice. That’s Labour.

The unions forced Labour into a law that says you get a full pension after 30 years.  A lot of us slightly older and younger than me paid in for 47/48 or even 50 years. Who is going to make up the shortfall of around 18 years per person?

The females complaining they have to work past 60, just remember it was several ladies who went to court so they could work past 60. Blame them not any government. You got what you fought for, like it or lump it.

As for the Unite workers on £40,000 per annum. Do you Mr Platts think they are real socialists now? They are like me, middle class now by aspiration. You detest me, a proper working man, so how about your own well off members?
