I have just returned from a meeting held in the town hall about a proposed "bazaar" on Rotherham Market. During the discussions, I related a story which illustrated the fact that many people in Rotherham Borough don't know that there is such a thing as an outdoor market other than the Tuesday street market.

The response from the council representatives concluded that these people "must be stupid". I would suggest that there are indeed stupid people in Rotherham -- some of them in positions of authority.
