What price to rest in peace?

I think it’s time the grave robbers brought the memorials and monuments back to where they were laid to rest.

Why pay loads of money to put a new roof on the Walker mausoleum? The holy ground should be made into a garden of rest, not just for ordinary people but those like Oxley’s Habershons, Beaston Clark  and, not last, the man who put Rotherham on the map, Mr Samuel Walker.

They should all be remembered, not forgotten. They are not the past, they were our future.

Come on, give the memorials back to a place they have been laid to be remembered: what price do they have to pay to rest in peace?
