Well done to remembrance children

I HAVE just walked into my home after attending the service of remembrance at the Greasborough War Memorial, led by the Rev Simon Copley of Greasborough United Church. It was well attended by adults but also by about 40-50 children and teachers.

I got the bus to the Coop on Oaks Lane to do some shopping and on my way home met the children walking back to school. I asked one of the teachers what school they were from and she said Redscope. One of the girls had done a reading very nicely and Rev Copley read a short piece written by a six year old girl.

I would like to complement the school on the behaviour of the children, some of them were very young but they were still very well behaved, even after a long walk back.

Well done.
