UKIP scandal is the last straw

There's an old adage that says "it never rains, but it pours". Well it's certainly coming down in buckets over Rotherham.

What with the grooming scandal, the Dennis MacShames scandal and now this latest fiasco with Rotherham Council and their social workers highlighting the stupidity of the great and good people that govern the people of Rotherham.

I'm the product of an old and proud mining family that has voted Labour resolutely since the working classes got the vote, but that must come to an end.

The forthcoming by-election is a chance for the people of Rotherham to say enough is enough. The time has come to turn our backs on the three main parties of Lab-Lib-Con.

The sitting body of councilors in Rotherham should hang their heads in shame. The once great town of Rotherham is nothing but a shell of its former self. MacShane who forced the by-election and is being investigated by the police should also be hanging his head in shame, along with Healey and Barron.

For too long have the Labour Party milked the gullibility of the people of Rotherham and given nothing back. The time for change has to start now.
