Thanks for a great night

I am writing to congratulate the team of people behind Rotherham Open Arts Fringe Festival on a brilliant event staged at Rotherham Trades Club, which featured Oliver Dawson Saxon.

It was a very well organised and well attended event and us ageing rockers were treated to an excellent set with all the Saxon hits you would expect played by the people who wrote and played them.

Mick Hill and the team behind this are bringing excellent bands and artists into Rotherham and deserve to be supported by the council as they are putting Rotherham on the map as a town with lots of live music.

This needs to be encouraged by people getting out and supporting the events, and officially with council support as it brings people into the town spending money and breathes new life into the pubs etc staging the events.

Well done everyone for ensuring a great night.
