Same-sex marriage Bill has cost Labour my vote

THE marriage of same-sex couples Bill and the importance and time spent on trying to make it legal is a waste of time and taxpayers’ money.

If same-sex couples want the same rights as marriage between a man and a woman, then they should choose partners of the opposite sex and comply with the definition of marriage as in the Bible and marriage vows.

If this Bill is passed, the consequences could and probably will be felt throughout the Commonwealth countries and the countries where the death sentence is the norm for homosexuality.

Take note Labour Party, you stand to lose a multitude of votes and mine will be the first should this bill be passed because you think it’s a vote winner, the same as you did with gay and lesbian rights in the 60s

With true unemployment figures running at well over four million, a wage freeze for public service workers, yet more cuts to our armed forces, continued attacks on the least well off  in society through benefit cuts and the sublimely ridiculous bedroom tax and what do our politicians consider to be more important?

Yes, its the same-sex marriage farce that affects a mere fraction of the population and who gives a damn anyway? Obviously not the politicians, and as a Labour voter of 48 years I have cast my last vote for them and also cancelled my membership.

So where do I go from here? its a simple choice, UKIP.
