Reduction in allowances?

I WAS moved close to tears by your inspiring photograph of Cllr Stone supporting a local volunteering initiative by carrying a couple of shopping bags (Advertiser June 6).  Now that our leader has, so publicly, embraced the virtues of doing something for nothing, may we hope for a substantial reduction in his claims, on the public purse, for allowances and expenses?
