LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Should it be First or Worst?
They are investigating two aspects of the company:
A) How can they claim to be first when, as the New York Tavern Debating Society has already decided, they should be called Worst Bus;
B) The inclusion of the word “Bus” in their title implies that they know something about running public transport. The evidence does not support this.

Hide AdIt is understood that the company is preparing its defence on the basis that it is — in fact — first in many respects, such as: employing insufficient numbers of staff, incompetence, putting profit before people.
It is, even, rumoured that the company will claim that their way of running a business has been adopted by the new Tory Government as a model for its economic policy.
Meanwhile, disgruntled passengers believe that what First Bus is really after is to get out of Rotherham altogether.
Unusually, there is agreement on this from both sides, because that is exactly what the passengers want as well.
