Can’t even get basic grammar right
I WAS mortified to see a road sign yesterday on the way into Rotherham from Thrybergh which announced that Roadwork’s would be commencing shortly (note the greengrocer’s apostrophe in Roadwork’s).
How in heaven’s name are we to dispel the idea that Rotherham is inhabited by “Numpties” if we can’t even get the basic grammar on official road signs correct?
