Can you help a Millers fan?

Sir-- I am a manager of a residential care home for adults with learning difficulties. One of my older residents, a lovely gentleman who doesn't ask for much out of life, with mobility and deteriorating health problems, is an avid Rotherham United fan.

He loves to follow his team by listening to matches on his radio. He keeps track of the Millers' progress both on the pitch and off by staff reading snippets of information from the Rotherham Advertiser.

We have also arranged for him to drive past the New York stadium to watch the phoenix rise from the ashes.

I have attempted to contact the Millers website as I would really love to surprise him with a ticket for the new stadium.

I know this would make his day. Due to his restricted mobility a wheelchair and carer is required and I am not sure of the availabilty of disabled access.

I have attempted to contact the Millers' website on several occasions. However, to date have had no replies.

I can only find information about season ticket holders and nothing about disabled availability.#

So if there are any kind people in the Rotherham area who can point me in the right direction I would be most grateful.

Please contact me by letter or telephone at on 01709 813040 or mobile 07717266105.
