Your vote can help Rotherham win £50,000 lottery funding

ROTHERHAM people are being urged today to vote for a town centre arts project which is bidding for £50,000 Lottery funding to convert empty offices into studios.

ROAR (Rotherham Open Arts Renaissance) is one of eight projects in Yorkshire shortlisted by The People’s Millions Big Lottery Programme for the chance to win the cash.

The number to phone to vote for ROAR is 08716 268148 and lines are open until 10pm. You can call up to ten times.

ROAR’s project is to convert 5,000 square feet of town centre empty office space into low cost artists studios and community space suitable for workshops and temporary events, which will be available to everyone.
