Youngsters in concert for Rotherham Holiday Aid

YOUNG musicians of the Rotherham Schools Music Service will be performing to help support a local charity.

Strings in Springtime will feature both group and solo performances by the talented Rotherham school pupils.

A spokesman for the service said: “All proceeds from the concert will be donated to Rotherham Holiday Aid.

“For over 20 years RHA has enabled disadvantaged children and parents from Rotherham to have a much-needed short break from the pressures of everyday life.“

Anyone attending will be helping raise money for a great local cause by simply enjoying good music by the areas finest musicians.”

The concert will start at 7pm, and be held in the hall of the music service centre next to Thurcroft Junior School.

Admission is £4 (£3 concessions). Tickets are available from the secretary, who can be contacted on 01709 364434, or on the door.
