Workmates take the plunge for charity
Two workmates are preparing to take plunge this morning to raise cash for a cancer charity.
Janice Lockwood and Mark Griffiths, who work together at HM Revenue & Customs in Sheffield, have been in training for a three-hour sponsored swim at Pond’s Forge.
They have already raised £1,500 in sponsorship and through a raffle for the Weston Park Cancer Charity and hope to boost their total even higher.
