Woman biker (56) "seriously injured" in crash

A WOMAN was "thrown from her motorbike" and seriously injured in a collision with a bin lorry.

The 56-year-old biker was travelling along Stubbin Road, Wath, towards Brampton Bierlow, at around 11am on Monday.

Police said she crossed onto the other side of the road on a left-hand bend and collided with the lorry.

Anyone with any informaiton or who was in the Nether Haugh area around the time of the crash should contact police on 101, quoting incident number 381 of October 17.
