Witnesses sought over alleged attack by foster carer
POLICE investigating the alleged assault of a five-year-old boy by his foster carer have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
A 44-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man were arrested in connection with the incident which happened outside the Ring O’ Bells pub at Kimberworth Park on April 18 and featured on the Advertiser’s front page last week.
The man and woman, who allegedly attack the youngster verbally and physically during the incident, have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
