We are sailing

EVERY Friday, pupils in Year Five and Year Six at Rudston go sailing and kayaking at Ulley Country Park.

Children aged nine to 11 enjoy a lovely, but hard-working time on the water.

“I think that everyone appreciates the incredible experience of a six-week course of water sports,” said Grace, one of the Year Six girls.

After they glide through the water on their boats and kayaks, the children run into the water and have a ten-second splash about in the reservoir.

Finally, they get back to school, wet and shattered.

“That was awesome for all ages,” said Alicia, a girl in Year Five, while Abbeygail, a girl in Year Six, said it was “truly amazing”.
