WATCH: Chilean mine hero Jose in Maltby
JOSE Henriquez, one of the 33 Chilean miners who found themselves trapped for 69 days after an explosion in the San Jose mine in Chile last year, has been speaking to residents from the area’s only remaining mining community.
The colliery pastor, who led daily prayers throughout the miners’ ordeal, told a gathering at Maltby’s Full Life Church of his experience and met two miners from Maltby Colliery, Tony Wood and Darren Richardson.
