Warrant issued after alleged Thurcroft sex offender fails to attend court

A COURT warrant has been ordered for a suspected multiple sex offender after he failed to appear at court.

Sheffield Magistrates’ Court issued the warrant for Anthony Sanders — who is accused of 14 offences dating back 35 years — after he did not answer bail and attend court as instructed on Tuesday.

Sanders (67), of Thurcroft, is accused of six counts of gross indecency and ten indecent assaults said to have been committed between 1981 and 1985.
