VIDEO: Suspected meth bust on Broom Valley Road
POLICE, firefighters and ambulance crews were on Broom Valley Road today after a drugs bust on the home of a suspected methamphetamine producer.
Residents were escorted to and from their homes, but no through traffic was allowed between 9am and 3pm.
Chief Supt Rob Odell briefed reporters at the scene, saying there was no risk to neighbouring residents.
One man has been arrested on suspicion of producing class A drugs. The road has now been reopened.
