Vandals smash-up community centre

COMMUNITY workers are up in arms after vandals broke into their centre and caused thousands of pounds worth of damage.

Mindless yobs broke into Treeton Community Centre last Thursday and poured petrol over the electrics as well as cutting the cables to the CCTV.

They smashed up doors, shutters and a window at the Pit Lane facility which celebrated its fifth birthday in December.
