Two suspects sought after arson attacks

TWO more e-fit images have been released by police investigating a spate of arson attacks on vehicles.

It follows information from the public about men in their 20s riding around the area on BMX bikes, one with a petrol bomb.

Five vehicles have been burned in the Rawmarsh area since May 26, including three on Brameld Road.

The latest was a Toyota Supra in Albert Road in Parkgate last Wednesday (24), when witnesses saw a man fleeing on a mountain bike.

Temporary Sgt John Morris said: “Our enquiries into this series of arsons continue in earnest and we are determined to catch those individuals responsible for these attacks.

“We are very grateful to the local community for their patience and I’d encourage anyone with information or with concerns to report it to officers.”
