Two more bid for Midnight Music glory

WITH time running out for entries to our great Midnight Music competition, we’ve heard from two more acts who think their tunes have got what it takes.

Never Did We Believe are a four-piece band from Barnsley who describe themselves as alternative/rock.

Their song is called Glass Shoes and singer Emily Logan says: “It would be awesome if you picked us because we are young, fresh new talent with a huge buzz for music and we wanna get our music out there and hope people will like it.”

Meanwhile, Sam Shirtliffe, 15, says she has a passion for music.

She has entered her version of a musical theatre number called I Know Where I’ve Been from the musical Hairspray.

Currently rehearsing in a production of Annie, to be staged at Rotherham Civic theatre in July, Sam says: “I’m passionate about performing and I love the hard work, dedication and commitment.

“There is nothing more rewarding then the applause from the audience, which makes it all with while.”
