TWO blue badge fraudsters have been fined by magistrates.

Atiya Khan (43), of Jardine Street, Sheffield, pleaded guilty to using her son's blue badge to park her car in Rotherham’s Scala car park in March this year. Her son was in school at the time.

She was fined £150 and ordered to pay £300 costs and £20 victim surcharge.

Bilal Malik (26), of Manor Crescent, Brinsworth, pleaded guilty to using his sister's blue badge to park his car on Chapel Walk, Rotherham, in March.

His sister was not present at the time.

He was fined £150 and ordered to pay £300 costs and £20 victim surcharge.

Both defendants accepted that they had done wrong and apologised to the court.
