Ms Hurley said: “It was good to witness the huge efforts the Kimberworth Practice are putting into delivering an effective oral health treatment and prevention plan for patients.

“This includes fluoride application by dentists and trained nurses, school educational visits and prescriptions of fluoride toothpaste and mouthwash to high risk patients. In all, delivering high quality, personalised dental care.”

Ronan McManus, a partner at Kimberworth Park Dental Practice, said: “It was a privilege to play host to Sara at our practice.

“It was an opportunity for her to see first-hand the work our whole practice team is involved with, including our specialist NHS oral surgery service and how we are training newly qualified dentists.”
