Teens bailed as murder investigation continues

THREE teenagers questioned over the death of a Wath man have been released on bail.

The three 15-year-olds were arrested in connection with the death of Craig Nelson, also known as Craig Preston, who was found on moorland off the A628 at Longdendale on August 22.

A post-mortem examination found Mr Nelson died as a result of head injuries.

Two boys were arrested on suspicion of murder and a girl on suspicion of conspiracy to murder.

They were questioned by detectives and have now been released on bail pending further enquiries.
