Talks reveal fascinating facts about Wentworth Woodhouse

THREE lectures aim to inform the public about a famous building.

The talks will reveal fascinating facts about Wentworth Woodhouse and Wentworth Castle near Rotherham.

Dr Patrick Eyres will give the lectures which cost £15 each or £40 for all three.

Next Wednesday, he will speak about The Wentworth Rivalry, 1695-1750 and this will be followed on October 8 by Wentworth Castle and the English Landscape Movement, 1740-1790.

The final lecture, on November 26, has the title Wentworth Woodhouse: Agriculture, Politics and Coalmining, 1750-1830.

All three lectures start at 7pm.
