Survey reveals Rotherham's brilliant for business

ROTHERHAM is among the UK’s best spots for investment when it comes to the town’s environment and infrastructure, a survey found.

Analysis was by The Local Futures Group and the Municipal Journal ranked all 335 local authorities in the country based on key factors attracting growth.

Rotherham came third for environment and infrastructure, which included the amount of floorspace, quality of life and connectivity.

Tim O’Connell, from Rotherham Investment & Development Office said: “We have always known that the Rotherham area comprises a strong offer for potential inward investors.

“This has enabled Rotherham to attract world-class companies such as Rolls-Royce, AESSEAL and Tata Steels, and it is rewarding to have these factors recognised by independent survey.”
