Speed cameras on Rotherham’s roads

MOBILE speed cameras will continue to be used as part of a drive to reduce casualties on the borough’s roads.

The South Yorkshire Safety Camera Partnership will continue its efforts to improve safety on the borough’s major routes when its officers conduct patrols for a week starting on Monday (2).

Among the locations subject to patrols are: A57, Anston; Doncaster Road, Mexborough; Low Road, Conisbrough; Herringthorpe Valley Road, East Herringthorpe; Upper Wortley Road, Thorpe Hesley; Doncaster Road, Thrybergh; and Doncaster Road, Conisbrough.

The other roads subject to patrols are: Bawtry Road at Brecks, Brinsworth and Wickersley; Rotherham Road, Maltby; Warren Vale Road, Swinton; Wales Road, Kiveton Park; Station Road, Wombwell; Doncaster Road, Wath; Vale Road, Thrybergh; and Worksop Road, Aston.
