Rotherham's schools lag in SATs table
ROTHERHAM'S youngsters have matched last year's results when it comes to maths and English at key stage two–according to the latest figures.
But the town still dips below the national average when it comes to hitting the Government's targets for English and maths.

Hide AdSATs league tables out this week place Rotherham's primary schools four per cent below the national average.
68 per cent of the borough's 11-year-olds, who sat the English, maths and science tests in May, met the expected target of level four.
Nationally, 72 per cent of year six pupils hit the target which was one per cent down from last year.
