Rotherham remembers war dead
PEOPLE in Rotherham along with millions across the country will be paying their respects to the war dead on Sunday as well as on Armistice Day.
Among the many events taking place in the borough will be the Remembrance Sunday Parade, including the civic party, which moves off from Effingham Street in Rotherham town centre at 9.25am.

Hide AdThis will be followed by a remembrance service in Rotherham Minster at 9.45am before the parade goes to the war memorial in Clifton Park for 11am for the Act of Remembrance.
This will be followed by a march past in front of dignitaries outside the Town Hall before the parade is dismissed.
The Mexborough, Swinton and Kilnhurst branches of the Royal British Legion will start their parade on Sunday from Mexborough police station at 10.20am to reach the war memorial at 10.55am.
There will be a service and then those in the parade will walk back up to the Athletics Club on Adwick Road and disband there.

Hide AdSeating will be available throughout the service being held at the war memorial.
