Roads remain closed after flash flooding

COMMUTERS continue to face delays after torrential rain led to flash flooding in parts of the borough.

Travel South Yorkshire said Glasshouse Lane in Kilnhurst was closed due to flooding.

Services 217 and 218 are diverting via Wentworth Road and Wharfe Street in both directions.

Sheffield Road at Templeborough also remains closed and the X1 service is having to divert via Centenary Way and Bawtry Road in both directions.

A spokesman added that other services should be running to their normal routes but may be subject to delays.
