River body named
THE body of a man found in a river on Sunday is that of Laszlo Kovacs, police have confirmed.
Mr Kovacs (79) had been missing from his Herringthorpe home since Thursday.
His body was discovered by two members of the public at 2.50pm in the stretch of the River Don off Aldwarke Lane.
A postmortem examination was due to be held today but police say there do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances.
