Relive Rotherham’s carnival during two-week exhibition

CARNIVAL Day may have come and gone but you can relive the day Rotherham came together and partied during a two-week exhibition.

The costumes and props are on display alongside photos and films of the People’s Parade until next Saturday, October 21, at the Old Market Gallery.

Hundreds of people lined the streets on September 24 to watch community groups, artists and musicians dressed in brightly-coloured costumes parading, before an afternoon of live music in Clifton Park.

The Carnival Presents exhibition, which was launched last Thursday with an evening of music from around the world, is open from 10am to 3pm from Tuesday to Saturday.
