READER PICTURE: Double success for Nicole and Hetti

ROTHERHAM horsewoman Nicole Wayman is celebrating success at the Royal Welsh Winter Fair.

Nicole (19) took the Welsh section C champion' title and bronze medal with her Welsh section C yearling Abergavenny Hetti at the show, which was held at Llanelwedd, near Builth Wells.

Nicole, of Micklebring, Rotherham, has only owned Hetti for three months after buying her with her parents from the Abergavenny Stud and mum Wendy, who sent in the picture, said the pair were up against 16 other entrants.

“To win their class and then go on to take overall section C Champion was overwhelming for Nicole and the fact that she did it in front of Hetti’s breeder, Jonathan Batt, from the Abergavenny Stud, made it that little bit more special for her,” said Wendy.
