READER PICTURE: Conservative members help out at disabled riding stables

LOCAL Conservatives have been sprucing up the  stables at High Hopes Riding For The Disabled in Thorpe Hesley

Members of the Rotherham Conservative Associations and Conservative Futures were taking part in a social action day. 

Wentworth Conservative Association Chairman Alan Sheriff who had arranged the project said; “All of us in the local Conservative party are great believers in working together to make Rotherham and South Yorkshire better for all of its residents. 

"This is the first of what we hope will become many social action days and if any organisations need help by all means contact one of the Rotherham Councillors and let us have details. 

"There is more work to be done at High Hopes and we will be returning in the Spring to paint the stable block once the horses are out to grass.”
