Rally drivers' warm Rotherham send-off

REVVED-UP Rotherham car workers helped rally drivers get on the road in style as they began a tough charity challenge.

Restore FX, which and provides paint and decal jobs for cars and other vehicles, is raising money for United World Schools by taking part in the Mongol Rally.

Staff at the firm’s Eastwood branch gave drivers Frederick Svensson and Allie Vaandering a send-off before setting off on their drive through Europe and Mongolia to Russia.

Raffle tickets are being sold at RestoreFX’s premises at the Sycamore Centre, Sycamore Road on Eastwood Trading Estate to support the charity.
