Probe after man found dead

TESTS are being carried out to determine how a 49-year-old man died.

Joseph Grantham Wilson, of Moor Road, Wath, was found dead in his bathroom after police responded to calls expressing concerns for his welfare.

Mr Wilson was pronounced dead at the scene at around 10.15pm, shortly after officers arrived at his home, last Tuesday.

Police said that there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident.

An inquest has been opened into Mr Wilson’s death  at Doncaster Coroner’s Court.

Postmortem examinations and toxicological testing are being carried out to determine how he died.

The inquest was adjourned.
